Private and Semi-private lesson options
Students (with out prior experience) usually start in 30-45 min privates or semi- privates. As they become more fit and competent they are able to ride more independently, for longer and with other rider(s) in ring at same time.
In the hour-long format each rider will become more independent in the care and handling of their mount, learning to groom, tack up and lead (all with assistance as necessary) in addition to more riding time.
Cancellations due to bad weather will be rescheduled if mutually convenient, and otherwise skipped and not charged. Cancellations by student w/ less than 24 hr. notice will be charged.
Note: Horse Training is also available. My training techniques are extremely humane and appropriate for all horses (pleasure, performance, dressage, jumping, etc) as well as green horses and retraining projects. Natural Horsemanship, Classical Dressage (in-hand & mounted), and positive reinforcement/clicker training are all elements of my training techniques for horses. Horses trained in this way become happy, eager and relaxed. Lessons/horse training can be arranged at your barn (depending on outside trainer policies, I’m happy to provide my commercial equine instructor insurance) for $65 hour plus mileage (50 cents/mile). If you can arrange for 2 or more people for given location will not charge mileage. Semis $50/ hour.
